 How do I book?
        
To make a booking you can call us or email us. Check out the contact page for details.
   How much notice is required to make a booking?
        No amount of notice is required however try to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
 Are the prices the same on public holidays?
 No, there will be a $50 surcharge on public holidays.
 How do I pay?
    The most preferred method is to be paid cash on the day. Cheque payments or bank transfers are accepted but will need to be received in sufficient time for the funds to clear before the booking date.
     Sorry, we do not accept credit card payments.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
     Yes, a $50 deposit will be required to make a booking.
  What do the prices include?
    Our prices include local delivery within 20km of Ballina. There will be an additional delivery charge        for deliveries further than 20km (Please contact us for price). Set up and collection of     the jumping castle is also included in booking price.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. North Coast Castles carries $10,000,000 public liability insurance. Please feel free to ask for a copy of our certificate of currency.
When is your jumping castle available?
Our castle is currently only available on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
How long can I hire the castle for?
4 hours, 7 hours or overnight. Check out the Prices page for more details.
Is a supervisor needed?
If it is a private event the castle must have a nominated adult over 18 years of age to supervise. The children's safety on the castle is reliant on the supervising adult. Supervision is mandatory in public places or corporate events and will require someone from North Coast Castles. If a supervisor is required from North Coast Castles a fee of $25/hour will be charged ( 3 hour minimum).
What are your working hours?
Our working hours are 8am to 5pm on weekends, school holidays and public holidays. Other times may be requested and organised if needed.
What if I need to cancel my jumping castle booking?
You will need to provide us with at least 7 days notice of your intention to cancel. If the cancellation is made within 7 days prior to the booking date the deposit will be forfeited.
How much space is needed?
We require at least a 1.2m wide access to get to the set up point. Please advise us when making booking if there are any steps or obstacles between drop off point and set up point as the castle weighs 135kg and we may require assistance. The cleared space will need to be 6m long by 6m wide by 5m high. Please ensure all obstacles including dog poo be removed from the area where the castle is to be set up.
What terrain can the castle be set up on?
We can only set the castle up on grass, pavers or concrete. No gravel driveways as there may be sharp objects present that will damage the castle. Will also be unable to set up castle if ground is to muddy. Please notify us when making booking what ground conditions you have.
Can the castle be set up on a slope?
Flat ground is ideal however a very slight slope may be ok, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking.
What happens if the castle does not fit on the property?
A required set up space will be given in our confirmation and can be found on our website. Please make sure you measure carefully. If we are unable to set up the castle due to incorrect measuring of the space you will be fully charged for the castle hire.
Is there anything I need to provide for the castle hire?
There will need to be a 240 volt mains power supply within 25m of the set up area. We will supply all equipment needed for the castle to be safely set up.
Are there safety instructions for the castle?
Yes there are safety instructions sewn onto the entrance of the castle and must be followed. We can provide a copy of safety instructions upon request.
What are the recommended ages for the castle?
We recommend that the children be minimum 3 years of age and generally 8-12 children allowed at one time. Adults are allowed on the castle but please pay attention to rules and weight limits.
How long does it take to set up and pack up the castle?
Approximately 20 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to up depending on the access. This is only an estimate, times may vary depending on conditions and how many people are around to help.
What if it rains or is windy?
Light showers are ok as the castle has a rain/shade cover attached to the top. Light to moderate wind is ok as the castle will be anchored down with pegs. Castles should not be used in heavy rain or wind due to safety reasons. If the weather is not suitable we will ring you on the day to arrange another date or cancel booking. Deposit will be refunded if this occurs. If delivery of the castle is made and the customer decides to cancel at that time the deposit will be forfeited. If the weather turns bad whilst castle is in use we will have to take it down and you will only be charged for the hours used.
Is the castle cleaned before arrival?
Yes. The castle is thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant after every hire.
Are food and drinks allowed in the castle?
No. Please do not eat or drink in the castle. We would unfortunately have to charge a cleaning fee if excessive cleaning is required.
Am I liable for any damages to the castle?
Yes. If there are any damages caused by sharp objects or improper use the hirer will be liable for the full cost of any such repairs.
